The Iowa High School Athletic Association released its sites and assignments for three of its spring sports recently.
Track and field assignments for both boys and girls were released the morning of April 12. Golf sites and assignments also were released recently.
In track and field, Collins-Maxwell/Baxter heads to Hampton-Dumont for a Class 2A state qualifier.
The rest of the field includes Hampton-Dumont, Aplington-Parkersburg, BCLUW, Columbus Catholic, Denver, Dike-New Hartford, East Marshall, Jesup, Roland-Story, Jesup, South Hardin and West Marshall.
Colfax-Mingo will be in a 1A state qualifier. The Tigerhawks head to Earlham for its state qualifier. Joining the Tigerhawks and the Cardinals will be Diagonal, East Union, Grand View Christian, Iowa Christian Academy, Lamoni, Martensdale-St. Marys, Melcher-Dallas, Mormon Trail, Mount Ayr, Murray, Seymour, Southeast Warren and Wayne.
In boys golf, CMB will play its 2A sectional meet at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club on May 12. That sectional includes Albia, Central Decatur, EBF, Interstate 35, Pella Christian, PCM and host Pleasantville.
Colfax-Mingo will play its 1A sectional meet at Prairie Knolls Country Club in New Sharon on May 12. Joining the Tigerhawks are host North Mahaska, Lynnville-Sully, Melcher-Dallas, Moravia, Southeast Warren and Wayne.
Teams and individuals advancing from the sectionals will play in district meets on May 19.
CMB plays districts at Lake Panorama National Golf Course in Panora, while Colfax-Mingo travels to Crestwood Hills in Anita.
