Judy Kay Clark, 73, of Baxter, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at the Newton HealthCare Center. A funeral service was Monday, Nov. 27 at Ashton Chapel Church in rural Mingo. Memorials to Ashton Chapel Church or the Pregnancy Center of Central Iowa may be left at at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton.

Judy, the daughter of Lloyd Everett and Elizabeth (Bucklin) Dee, was born Sept. 1, 1944, in Marshalltown. She grew up in Baxter and graduated from Baxter High School in 1962. Judy worked for 30 years as an administrative assistant at the Maytag Company in Newton. She was a member of the Ashton Chapel Church. Judy enjoyed going out to eat and shopping with her friends and family. She also loved her trips to South Carolina to visit her son and his family.

Judy is survived by her son, Dan (Stacey) Mendenhall of Elgin, S.C.; granddaughter, Hannah Mendenhall of Elgin, S.C.; her sister, Carolyn (Francis) Campbell of Newton; brother, Tim (Cinda) Dee of Baxter; and her nephews and niece. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ronald Clark.
